"Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they're never weakness" -Brené Brown

Meet Malia

I value authenticity, curiosity, and meaningful connection. I am drawn to deep conversations and to understanding what shapes you—your experiences, relationships, and the stories you carry. My path into this work has been shaped by both professional training and personal experiences with grief and loss, the impact of high-stress roles within families, and my lived experience as a biracial woman navigating identity and belonging.

These experiences inform the compassion, steadiness, and presence I bring into the therapy space. Being a therapist feels like a natural extension of who I am—someone who believes in growth, reflection, and the capacity for change, even during seasons that feel heavy or uncertain.

My Approach

Transform & Thrive Counseling was created to offer thoughtful, individualized care in a supportive space.

I approach therapy with care, curiosity, and intention helping clients better understand their experiences and move toward meaningful change.
